The primary goal of the Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics includes the diagnosis and treatment of sequelae of dental caries and includes the techniques and procedures to restore the teeth to full function and appearance. The treatment provided include various fillings, root canal treatment surgical endodontics, endodontic implants, bleaching and management of traumatized teeth.

The goal of Root Canal Treatment (RCT) is to save the tooth by removing the infected or irreversibly damaged pulp, treating any infection and filling the empty canals with an inert material. If Root Canal Treatment (RCT) is not done, the tooth may have to be extracted.
When is Root Canal Treatment (RCT) advised!?
1. Severe tooth ache which is during chewing or during contact with any hot or cold temperature food which is usually tolerable.
2. Constant pain or spontaneous pain in tooth.
3. Darkening of the tooth.
4. Swelling in the areas of gums around the toot
