Department of Applied Science (First Year Engineering) was established for first year engineering students. The First Year of Engineering is the beginning of professional carrier, therefore the department is very careful about the teaching-learning process and overall result of the students.

The Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in 2013 with intake of 120 students and engaged in rendering quality education in Mechanical Engineering to cater industrial demands of Quality Engineer.

Department has well equipped Laboratories in Design, Production areas with huge investment in various machineries and equipments. We have highly qualified teaching staff members in Thermal, Production, Design, CAD/CAM engineering etc.

Civilization is a continuous process to provide comforts for mankind. Civil Engineering involves utilization of scientific knowledge for welfare of human beings. Over the years, shelter, water & communications have remained always on priority in national planning.

Every construction activity - buildings, bridges, tunnels, roads, dams & canals, involve use of Men, Machines, Money & Materials. Growth of population & urbanization invited new problems in urban planning such as water supply, waste disposal, transportation & global warming. To overcome all these problems in infrastructural development & to build tomorrow’s India, role of Civil Engineer remains of prime importance even in era of information technology. Civil Engineering department in Vishwaniketan's iMEET, was established in the year 2013.

The Department of Computer Engineering was established in 2013 with an intake of 60 students. The student to teacher ratio is 15:1. To keep the students industry ready the Department organises Value Addition Program (VAP) in the various technologies like Java, .NET, Oracle, IoT, Data Analytics, Data Science, Big Data, AngulerJS, Node JS etc.

The students have worked over and above curriculum of Mumbai University and developed various projects through Value Addition Programme. The computer labs are open 24x7 for the students with good internet connectivity. Besides central library, departmental library provides various reference books and Journals. Industry offers sponsorship to projects for undergraduate studies.
