Carbon Credits has been our primary service offering over the years. We have transacted over 4 million Carbon Credits across various standards for both long and short term sales. Being based out of the primary markets, we have been able to create a niche of sorts in transacting and originating carbon projects both under the CDM and the other voluntary standards. In line with our vision, we have forayed extensively into community level GHG reduction projects.

In a Climate Change conscious society, arriving at a net carbon zero operation couldn’t be more relevant. A reduction in carbon impact inadvertently reduces operational, compliance and reputation risks in the business. The empirical solution to is to ‘in-set,’ i.e. reduce the carbon footprint on-site prior to ‘off-set’ the balance emissions.

Our flagship service has helped numerous companies achieve their goals of climate change action through livelihood based programs. Over the years, we have had an opportunity to work with the community for a large number of projects, which have contributed substantially to the global fight on climate change as well as aided in providing a better way of life for over a half a million households in developing and under developed countries.

Our Service as Developer

VNV invests in low carbon development projects. Owing to the highly volatile markets and often low pricing that project owners have to deal with , project owners are hesitant to incorporate carbon credit development into their projects. VNV steps in here to off – take such costs. We are open to investments at early stages as well as later stages of the development cycle. Our preferred project types are those which are community based with high social impacts.

The recent regulations and the ever increasing expectations from stakeholders ,consumers and investors alike has made it imperative for companies to look at CSR as an extension of their business and not mere philanthropy .
