Way Society

The objective of EDP is to provide orientation and awareness pertaining to various managerial and operational functions like finance, production, marketing, enterprise management, banking formalities, book keeping, etc. The duration for EDP is 10 days which will include interaction with successful rural entrepreneur, banks as well as orientation through field visits.

WAY society is an authorised training centre by Khadi & Village Industries Commission, State Office, Hyderabad, Divisional Office, Vishakhapatnam and A P Khadi & VI Board, Hyderabad to organize Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDP) to PMEGP beneficiaries in Kurnool, Ananthapur, Nalgonda, West Godavari, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam, and Vishakhapatnam Districts of Andhra Pradesh state.

Through this EDP, WAY society organize 15 days training classes to PMEGP beneficiaries in various topics which helps to get success in their business establishments. WAY has trained 302 PMEGP beneficiaries during 2011-12 in the above said districts.

WAY society conducted vocation training programme in fashion technology through its RISC ceneter in Choutuppal mandal of Nalgonda district. Through this 2 months scheme nearly 300 women benefited and got employment in nearly textile parks. This programme organized by WAY society own funding. Out of 300 women 200 got employment in Malkapura textile park and remaining 100 women got loan from IOB and AP Grameena bank to start their own units. Through their units the beneficiaries got marketing orders on piece basis from near by Hyderabad market.
