STORAGE & SHELF LIFE
It has a shelf life of 1.5 years from the date of manufacture if stored in normal to dry conditions. For best results store in closed container and avoid direct sunlight.
APPLICATION

There is no need to wet the tiles before installing them. Only with very dusty backs it is recommended to dip the tiles in clean water.

Tiles should be installed under a firm pressure to ensure good coverage of the adhesive.

In normal temperatures and humidity conditions, the open time of Marmoflex-T is

approximately 30 minutes.

Unfavourable weather conditions (strong sun, wind, high temperatures, etc.) or a highly absorbent substrate can reduce the open time, even to just a few minutes. It is therefore necessary that careful checks be made to ensure that a skin does not form on the surface of the spread adhesive, which should stay fresh.

If not, refresh the adhesive by re-spreading with a notched trowel.

It is not recommended to wet the adhesive with water once a skin has formed because, instead of dissolving the skin, the water will form an anti-adhesive film.

If necessary, tiles should be adjusted within 60 minutes of installation.

Tiling installed with MARMO FLEX must not be washed or exposed to rain for at least 24 hours and must be protected from frost and strong sun for at least 5-7 days.

• All surfaces must be dimensionally stable according to IS 1443-1972, level, cured, undamaged, compact, rigid, resistant, dry and free from any debodning agents and from damp rising.
• Mixing water ≈ 5 to 5 litres of clean water per bag
• To guarantee maximum adhesion it is necessary to apply a sufficient layer of adhesive.
• Large, rectangular sizes with sides > 30 cm may require adhesive to be applied directly on the back surface of the tile.
• Check samples to make sure the adhesive has been transferred to the back of the material.

MARMOFLEX-W is a ready to mix, two component system modified with polymeric
material adhesive for fixing tiles, stones, impregnated stones etc. where nominal to moderate movement is expected. It is non toxic and minimise cracks.

APPLICATION

Clean the substrate of oil stains and also remove dirt, dust and laitance if any using

high pressure waters jet or any other suitable method.

Ensure that the substrate is flat, stable, well adhered and has a normal absorption.

Fro fresh plasters & screeds ensure complete curing as recommended.

Concrete screeds, renders and block work should be sufficiently cured to avoid

shrinkage cracks.

Correct the local undulation / damage on the substrate at least 48 hours before the

application of Marmoflex-W saturate the surfaces well and remove excess water
before application of the tile adhesive.

Gradually add Marmoflex-W compound A powder to Marmo flex-W compound B

of polymer liquid and mix it with a smooth, workable paste using stirrer or a low
speed drill mix.

Do not attempt to extend the pot life by adding more water to the mix. After mixing

allow the mixture to stand for 4 minutes for it to mature.

Apply Marmoflex-W over the surface using the straight edge of the notch trowel and

then comb the applied adhesive using the notched side of the adhesive is buttered to
the tile, then ensure proper coverage of tile to avoid voids.

Firmly press the tile into the adhesive to ensure good adhesion.

without using spacer pegs.

Usage area

-Interiors and exterior bonding of stone and agglomerate material (provided that

they are classified as stable and not irreversibly sensitivity to moisture)

-spot bonding of insulating material in interior such as expanded polystrene, rock

and glass wool, sound deadening panels, etc

-interior and exterior bonding up to 15 mm thick on floors of ceramic tile of every

type and size on uneven substrates an renders, without having to level the flooring

beforehand.

MarmoFlex-S1 is applied to the substrate using a notched trowel. Choose a trowel

that allows for a complete coverage to the back of the tiles to be installed. To achieve

good adhesion, first spread a thin layer of marmoflex-S1 on the substrate using the

straight edge of the trowel. Immediately after, appply the desired thickness of marmo

flex-S1 using notched trowel, depending on the type and size of the tiles. For outdoor

ceramic tiled floors and walls, tile sizes greater than 900cm²   floors that must be leveled during tiling installation or subject to heavy loads, or when applying in swimming pools and basins filled with water, spread the adhesive on the back of the tile (back-buttering) in order to ensure complete coverage. as an alternative, for laying large-sized tiles or slabs indoors, to improve buttering on the back of the tile, the mix may be made more fluid by increasing the amount of water.
